Discussions on Faith, Industry & Community

What is God’s design for work? (Genesis 1:26-28, Ecclesiastes 7:29a)

Terminus Collective City Syllabus creates conversation centered on the gospel, our work, our communities, and the intersection of faith and work in different industries and channels of cultural influence.  Attendees are exposed to a redemptive grid through which they can view their work. We want people to see the possibilities of how their work can contribute to the flourishing of communities in and around Atlanta.

What You Can Expect

Reframing

Attendees will walk away with a greater understanding of how their faith intersects their work in a specific industry/channel of cultural influence. We want them to have become aware of the possibility that their work matters…to God and to their neighbor. Additionally, attendees will have been exposed to issues that affect Atlanta, as seen through the lens of the evening’s topic.

Repurposing

Attendees will have been challenged to think about the implications of the gospel for the industry and/or channel of cultural influence and how their work plays into the glory of God and the flourishing of their community.

Restorative

Attendees will walk away with possible next steps concerning their work and their community, as well as ways to connect with further dialogue surrounding the City Syllabus topic. They will also leave with next steps for greater involvement in their local church, community and the work of Terminus Collective.
