We envision a future in which Creatives and Makers in Atlanta work together to bring healing, justice, and flourishing to the city.
Terminus Collective began in 2016 with the mission to raise up Atlanta-area leaders to live out their faith through their work for the flourishing of the city. Since then, the culminating question we continuously asked ourselves was this:
How do we build a community of Creatives and Makers who harness their talents, convictions, and influence to impact the city in tangible ways?
Knowing that Atlanta was a national hub for historic and progressive creativity with a wealth of eclectic talent, Terminus Collective strove to better answer this question with a new executive director and clearer vision.
FLOURISH THE CITY
Amisho Baraka, or Sho as he known to many, was elected as the new executive director for the collective, leading the charge towards a new, singular vision:
Terminus convenes Atlanta-area creatives, cultivates their talents, and curates/creates projects that bring good to the city.
This means that Terminus exists to gather and garner filmmakers, musicians, studio artists, designers, digital creators, carpenters, culinary masters, and more under the banner of bringing good and doing good to and in the city of Atlanta.
The artist’s role is to raise the consciousness of the people. To make them understand life, the world, and themselves more completely. #AmiriBaraka
